This project is known as North Pipes and it is targeted specifically
for high-grade uranium mineralization. The mineralization type
(ore-type) and mineral province is relatively recently recognized.
The area has produced some 26 million pounds of uranium.

Liberty Star's Bonanza Hills project area, targeting high-grade gold
with by-product silver, is located approximately 65 miles from the
village of Iliamna and about 40 miles northeast of our Big Chunk project
area, or about 160 miles west-southwest of Anchorage. Bonanza Hills
comprises 54 Alaska State quarter section mining claims, covering 13.5
square miles.

The property consists of 707 mining claims known
as the Big Chunk claims, covering approximately 177 square miles
(about 270,000 acres) of southwestern Alaska. Liberty Star's 2004 exploration program
discovered copper, porphyry style mineralization on the portion
